LEARN KOREAN THROUGH MUSIC, CULTURE AND PERSONAL CONNECTION
Korean doesn’t have to feel like studying.
I help learners build a real connection to the language through music, culture and methods that keep you coming back.

My Story
Coming from a multicultural background, I’ve always been drawn to languages.
As a child, I watched my cousins live thousands of kilometres away and felt the frustration of not being able to fully reach them. I didn’t grow up bilingual like some mixed children do, and the gap stung every time we visited my dad’s home country. So I decided to close it. I started reading comics and books in English, joined an exchange program, and eventually graduated from college with degrees in both English and German. The effort paid off. Today I feel just as at home in English as I do in my mother tongue.
But the hunger for connection didn’t stop there.
When I began my music bachelor’s at Zurich University of Arts, a solo trip to South Korea changed everything. I immediately fell in love with the country. But my lack of Korean caused a lot of frustrating experiences. That frustration became fuel. I started learning Korean in my free time, watching Korean dramas, listening to Korean music, and staying close to the friends I had made during my trip.
What followed were years of going back and forth, four years living in Seoul, and eventually a master’s degree in international conference interpretation from the Graduate School of Interpretation and Translation at Hankuk University of Foreign Languages.
My experiences have thought me that the most powerful force in language learning is passion. Dry study sessions drain your motivation. But once you find a genuine connection to a culture and its people, the language starts pulling you forward even on the hard days.
That’s what I’m here to help you find.
